We built MRKZD to bring that room online. Verified. Focused. Yours.
Why we exist
Something broke.
For decades, this country ran on connections. Not the transactional kind, the real kind. A conversation over karak. A recommendation from someone whose word you trusted. A message forwarded three people up the chain that changed your career.
Then everything moved online.
LinkedIn became a stage.
Everyone performing, nobody talking. Long posts. Hollow reactions. A feed optimised for reach, not for you.
WhatsApp groups filled the gap , until they didn't.
The 400-person HR group where a real question at 9am is buried under forwarded PDFs by lunch. Personal, yes. Useful, sometimes. Findable a week later? Never.
UAE professionals deserved better. A place with the trust of a WhatsApp group and the structure of a proper community. A room, not a feed. A hub, not a highway.
So we built one.
MRKZD / Markazd
The name means centre.
MRKZD comes from markaz (مركز) in Arabic it means centre. Hub. The point where things gather.
We dropped the vowels. Kept the meaning.
This is where UAE professionals come to centre themselves around real discussion, verified peers, and a network that actually works when you need it to.
